A Victorian period hanging lamp from about 1890 has a cranberry hobnail blown glass shade mounted on a lavishly embossed patinated rosy brass frame. This farmhouse antique light fixture hangs on a ceiling hook.
The burner uses lamp oil or kerosene, it could be electrified if desired. The shade is undamaged and could be original. There is a smoke bell, and the winders have been locked so the lamp does not move up and down. Hanging crystal prisms vary in size and have a few chips.
Diameter is 16," the shade is 14" across and overall height from the top hanging hook as shown is 44" high, adjustable as desired.
