Victorian Eastlake 1880 Walnut Marble Top Sideboard

Built of solid walnut with matched burl panels about 1880, this late Victorian or Eastlake sideboard has a marble top. The engraved brasses are original and the warm medium brown finish is in excellent condition. The marble has beautiful grain, and only minor blemishes, see photos. Signed "Matthews Bros., Milwaukee," the carved backsplash is exceptional.

Drawers have the pin and cove style dovetail, typical of American antique furniture from the Eastlake period. Dimensions are 46" wide, 21" deep and 36" tall to the top of the marble.
