Vintage Georgian Breakfront China, Secretary, Display Cabinet or Bookcase #38388

A very fine Georgian design breakfront china cabinet is mahogany flame grain panels with satinwood and mahogany banding. The center top drawer is a drop front secretary desk with compartments and a leather surface inside. No maker's signature survives on this hand carved custom furniture.

Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and heavy weight brass hardware is original. A key operates the locks. The upper section with traditional grill work, convex glass panes, has doors that are removable for easier delivery.

The restored gleaming finish is in excellent condition. Glass shelves are adjustable.

Measurements are 76" wide, 14 1/2" deep and 94" tall.
