Demilune Antique Console Cabinet, Satinwood & Rosewood Marquetry, Empire #38393

An exquisite classical "demilune" or half round console cabinet from about 1930 is shimmering satinwood, inlaid with delicate rosewood, walnut burl ebony and mahogany marquetry in a sunburst pattern.

American made, this superior quality furniture is signed on a brass plaque, "Empire of Rockford, Il." The gleaming top has a restored finish for durability, the base is original. Waxed and polished, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its warm antique patina.

Brass lion pulls with rings are original on this understated and elegant antique furniture.

Measurements are 44" wide, 22" deep and 32 1/2" tall.
