A "Hoosier" farmhouse pantry cupboard was named because they were almost all made in Indiana. This one is missing its original label, but original hardware has the "H" monogram for "Hoosier." This superior quality example is oak with a roll top or tambour door and an enamel pull out top that has minor chips.
Inside, there are spice racks, a flour sifter with a glass window, tin lined brad drawers and two sliding bread trays, as well as many other organizational compartments and drawers.
The restored deep finish is in excellent condition on this American made farmhouse kitchen pantry furniture from about 1910. The upper section is removable for easier delivery.
Measurements are 42" wide, 27" deep, 70" tall and the work top extends the unit from 27" to 36 1/2" deep.
