This early version of a Victorian reed organ or "melodeon" was signed "George A. Prince & Co. Buffalo NY." American made, this antique musical instrument has been restored to be in very good playing condition, all but two notes play and there is a slight hum sometimes.
The genuine rosewood case has a very good old finish with some mars and wear for antique character, see photos. The right pedal operates the bellows which hold air nicely. The left "swell" pedal and the "divided swell" lever make volume increase. Original keys are natural bone.
Legs are removable to make this musical instrument portable.
Size is 37" wide, 18" deep and 29 1/2" tall.
