A rugged farmhouse kettle or industrial cauldron was used for making large quantities of candy and was hung over a fire.

• American antique 1900s kettle
• Later poplar stand
• Solid copper with an iron rim and old braised brass repair at bottom
• Dovetail construction
• Loads of wear, dings, mars, corrosion, & losses to one handle - see photos
• Carved wood handles and stand are later

Cauldron size is 23.5" across and 16.5" tall. Stand size is 17" wide and 7" tall.
