French Louis XIV Antique Bureau Plat Library Office Desk #47195

A palatial "Bureau Plat" or library or office desk was hand crafted in the Louis XIV manner about 1910 in France.

• Gleaming genuine satinwood and tulipwood inlaid marquetry
• Old finish in very fine condition with minor wear
• Gold-tooled leather writing surface has wear and dings - see photos
• Working double throw lock on center drawer
• Drawers have dovetail joints
• Over 100 pieces of original ornate cast solid brass mounts with faces and paw feet

Size is 71" wide, 37" deep and 31" tall. Legroom is 22.5" high and 28.5" wide.
