This Art Deco design blanket chest or trunk has a clock, jewelry compartments and a music box that plays a lovely tune, The Merry Widow Waltz by Lehar.

• Vintage 1940s furniture signed "Standard of Chicago IL"
• Walnut, mahogany, & birdseye maple
• Original varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish
• Minor dings, surface irregularities & shrinkage separations from age - see photos
• Brass & bakelite hardware is original
• Working lock & key, included latch has been disabled for safety
• Replaced quartz battery clock
• Jewelry compartments with sliding lids

Size is 48" wide, 19.5" deep, and 41.5" tall.
