A fantastic Victorian period portable travel or "lap" desk was the "Laptop" of the age, and is inscribed "To Miss Fieldsona from GG Glass" on top.

• Walnut burl with stunning marquetry & mother of pearl inlay
• Old varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish
