This marvelous Victorian period adjustable artist or architect drafting table has a clever iron mechanism to adjust height, tilt and sliding.

• American antique furniture from late 1870s
• Signed "Gates Manufacturing Co." of Philadelphia, PA
• Carved of solid cherry with paw feet
• Top surface has been refinished for durability. The rest of the old varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish
• Legs on base fold for easy storage.

• Original cast iron mechanism
• Two drawers for storage with original worn labels inside
• Adjustable height and tilt, table top can also be slid forward and backwards

Size is 32.5" wide, 24" deep and 32" tall as shown. Table height adjusts between 26.5-35.5" high.
