Cherry Secretary Desk & Bookcase

Simple and classic construction in solid cherrywood sets this secretary desk with bookcase top apart from the ordinary. Entirely original vintage furniture about 25 years old, this slender and elegant piece is in wonderful condition.

When the dropfront is opened, wooden arms extend to support the desk surface. Inside are tiny compartments. The upper section is removable and has glass doors and adjustable shelves with plate grooves for display.

Below are three drawers with dovetailed sides, the brass hardware is all original.

Dimensions are 29" wide, 18" deep, 6'4 1/2" tall and the desk surface is 30" above the floor.
