Delicate "spoon" carving distinguishes this charming late Victorian Eastlake chest or commode with a white marble top. Solid maple hardwood has a golden brown finish in excellent condition.
The original marble has some wear and stains, see photo. Hardware is also original from about 1880, and the drawers have the round or pin and cove dovetails typical of the era.
This antique furniture would make a lovely vanity for a vessel sink, or a bar or server. Size is 32" long, 18" deep, 3' tall and the top surface is 28" above the floor.
