Chicago Laboratory, Gold or Apothecary Scale

This precision scale in a mahogany and glass case was used in laboratories, by goldsmiths, jewelers and in apothecaries or drug stores.

Made in Germany in the 1920's for "Chicago Apparatus Co.," this antique appears original, complete and in working order, although we are not scale experts.

The original finish shows some wear, there is a bubble level inside, the brass feet are adjustable. Included are brass weights, and dimensions are 22" wide, 10" deep and 22" tall.
