Carved in rich dark walnut, this beautiful Renaissance or Tudor design dining set dates from the 1920's.
The 9 piece matched set includes an 8' table, 6 newly upholstered chairs, sideboard or buffet and china cabinet. All pieces are in wonderful condition with the ambience of an English country manor house.
The gleaming finish is excellent throughout, and this antique furniture is sturdy, strong and wiggle-free. Drawers are dovetailed and fit well, and have their original brass pulls. There are raised panels of matched burl, rich moldings and deeply turned legs.
The table has three 12" wide leaves, and is 45" wide, 30" tall, 5' long when closed, with all 3 leaves installed, length is 8,' legroom underneath is 25 1/2" high.
Six chairs include one with arms, all are newly padded and covered in soft and durable fabric. Side chairs measure 21" wide, 24" deep, 40" tall and seats are 19" high. The arm chair is 26" wide, 25" deep and 41" tall.
Inside the top drawer of the sideboard or buffet is a removable silverware caddy. Measurements are 6'2" long, 23" deep, 43" tall and the top surface is 37 1/2" above the floor.
The china cabinet has a gracefully arched top, shelves with plate grooves for display and measures 4' wide, 20" deep and 5'10" tall.
