Carved Mahogany Lion Head Antique Sideboard / Buffet

Richly carved mahogany lion heads and paw feet adorn this magnificent antique sideboard buffet with an original oval beveled mirror.

The gleaming finish is excellent. Hand dovetailed drawers have carved pulls, the silver drawer is lined with velvet. There is just enough "smoke" to the mirror to show its age, and this is extraordinary quality furniture from the 1890's.

Side panels are raised, note the small shrinkage separations near the ends of the mirror - see photo.

Measurements are 5 1/2' long, 26" deep, 4'11" tall and the top surface is 38" above the floor.
