Georgian Block Front Mahogany Secretary Desk

A classic Georgian style block-front secretary desk is mahogany, and has secret drawers inside. When the lid is opened, wooden supports automatically extend for a solid writing surface, inside are tiny compartments and drawers.

The finish is excellent, but there is some wear and mars to the inside writing area, see photo. All four feet are carved claw and ball.

Signed by noted maker, "Monitor," this is finer quality vintage American furniture from about 1950. The heavy brasses are original, and size is 3' wide, 21" deep, 41" tall and the desk surface is 30" above the floor.
