The charming simplicity of 1840's design is reflected in this solid cherry corner cabinet, said to be from Pennsylvania. Entirely hand made, the drawers are hand dovetailed. Cut nails secure the roughsawn back.
The interior has old paint and plate grooves in the shelves. Some of the window panes are original wavy glass.
The old finish has beautiful patina, there are stains and wear for a little character. Cherry knobs appear original, and there is a separation in the lower left door panel.
Dimensions are 51" wide tip to tip, 7'4" tall, and the side measurement from the back corner to the tip of the front crown is 36."
