This solid oak jelly cupboard was made about 1890 to hold the jams and jellies from the fall harvest, hopefully to last until the next harvest season. Subtle fluting gives an Eastlake character to this late Victorian antique furniture.
Upper drawers have the original brasses, and of course there was a lock to keep kids out of the stash. Shelves are replaced and there are various repairs, the golden finish is excellent on beautiful natural grain. Size is 42" wide, 16" deep and 56" tall.
Item # T-C3932
