A historic pair of hand-carved doors date to the Baroque period in the 1700's. Deeply paneled with moldings in geometric design on one side, the reverse has more curvaceous Baroque design in raised panels. The only hardware remaining is a hand-wrought sliding latch.
Upper panels are walnut, the lower are oak, they may have been replaced a couple centuries ago. The finish is very fine, with deep rich patina. Center stile is attached to the left door.
Many exciting uses for these majestic architectural doors include flanking an archway, as paneling or as working doors or shutters.
Height of this pair is 7'4" tall, the left door and center stile are 30" wide, the right door is 25" wide and they are 6" deep at the the thickest point. Matching panel and arch in photos are listed separately.
