Marble Top Chest, Dresser, Server, or Sink Vanity

This hand-carved walnut marble-top chest or dresser was made about 1910. The black marble top is in excellent condition with an old professional repair at one corner, and the original finish is in very good condition. Sides have raised panels, there are shrinkage separations due to age, see photos.

Richly embossed brasses are also original, and the drawers are hand dovetailed. This antique furniture shows characteristic artistry from the Piedmont area of Italy around Milan.

Size of this antique furniture is 5' 1" wide, 20" deep and 38" tall. Matching pieces and the mirror are sold separately.
