Carved Mahogany Full or Double Bed Headboard

Richly carved with graceful curves, this vintage full or double size bed headboard is mahogany, expertly crafted about 1940. Matching pieces are sighed "Carlton House, NY" on a brass plate. This bed does not have a brass Carlton House plate.

Superior workmanship is evident in the matched grain and deep carving. The rich lustrous finish is excellent with only minor mars at the edges.

Size of this entrancing American furniture is 57 1/2" wide and 53" tall. If used with a queen size bed, the mattress will hang over a bit on each side. Matching pieces are sold separately.
