Victorian Marble Top Antique Chest or Commode

This Victorian period solid walnut chest or commode has a marble top and gallery. Burl panels have ebonized accents, and drawers have hand-cut dovetails.

Nostalgic American furniture from about 1870, the finish is excellent. The marble has stains and mars, see photos.

Size of this sweet little antique is 29" wide, 16" deep, 41" tall to the top of the removable marble back splash, and the flat top is 30" high.
