Gustav Becker Antique Wall Clock, Leaded Glass

Signed by premier German clock maker, "Gustav Becker," this walnut wall clock dates from about 1920. The brass 30 day movement has been oiled and keeps excellent time, there is a four-note chime on the hour and half.

Both the movement and back of case are signed. In the lower door is a deeply beveled and leaded glass window. This antique shows the transition from Art Nouveau or Jugendstil to Art Deco periods.

There is some wear to the original dial. The case has an excellent finish. Size of this understated antique is 31" tall, 15" wide and 7 1/2" deep.
