Rugged American antique furniture, this set of 6 dining chairs are from the very early 1900's Arts and Crafts or Mission Oak period. These chairs have been expertly re-glued for strength and durability, the joints are tight and solid. Chairs are the hardest used of all furniture, they need more gluing, tightening and restoration than another household furnishing.
Our skilled woodworkers have checked for problems, disassembled, removed old glue, applied fresh glue and clamped these chairs to give them another generation of service. The price of our chairs includes restoration, and they are ready to use - durable and usable for modern lifestyles.
Solid oak and ash, the deep rich finish is excellent on these rock solid chairs, sound enough for regular family use. Curved backs and shaped seats are very comfortable. Size is 17" wide, 17" deep and 38" tall, the seat is 18 1/2" from the floor.
