Victorian Brass Gaslight Electrified Fixture

This solid brass Victorian gasolier or gas light fixture has been converted to electricity. It has its original etched glass shade, the gas valve is also original. A modern cap or canopy has been added to fit a standard electric ceiling box.

There is discoloration on the etching and the vented brass cover from the gas flame. This 1880's era American light fixture hangs 13" down from the ceiling when attached, the globe is 7" diameter.
