Renaissance Sideboard Credenza, Red Marble Top

Palatial Renaissance design furniture from the 1920's, this credenza or sideboard has the famous red "Rosso Levanto" marble top.

Walnut with matched burl, the original finish has understated dark gold highlighting on the artistic carving. The patina is beautiful with slight wear, there has been varnish added later and the finish is in very fine condition,

Italian extra-thick marble has two old professional repairs, see photos. Drawers are dovetailed.

Measurements of this historic American antique are 7' long, 24" deep and 39" tall.
