Country Carpenter Workbench, Kitchen Island

A rugged antique Victorian woodworking bench makes a great kitchen island or table for wine tasting and appetizers.

Solid hard maple and pine with hand-cut dovetail joinery, there are 2 working vises or clamps with huge iron screws. A recessed tray originally held tools on this American country furniture from about 1900.

The finish is very warm, there is wonderful patina - stains, mars and wear on this picturesque antique.

For handling, the top lifts off the base. Measurements are 5' 2" long and 36" wide including the handles on the vise clamps, and 33" tall.
