This Victrola or Victor Talking Machine record player is model VV-X from around 1915. The quarter-sawn oak has a warm brown finish, and is in very fine condition with only minor scratches. Nickel plated hardware is all original.
This player works well, the speed control is operational and there is an automatic shutoff at the end of play. The crank is removable, the spring motor is in good running order. Volume control is soft (both doors closed), medium (one door open) and loud (both doors open).
In the lower record storage area are three original albums of various records. The famous "His Master's Voice" design with the dog "Nipper" is under the lid.
Measurements of this nostalgic American antique are 19" wide, 22" deep and 42" tall when the lid is closed, excluding the removable crank.
