Kiss Antique Carved Marble Sculpture

Carved by hand from a block of marble, this sculpture depicts a kiss. In very fine condition, there are minor losses and wear, especially at the edges, see photos.

Very naturalistic, the artist captures a tentative moment in time very gracefully. Probably an Italian work of art, this statue dates from about 1915. Height of this antique is 13 1/2" tall, the base is 6" by 6 1/2."
