Gothic Hall or Foyer Mirror, Carved Heads

A spectacular hall or foyer mirror is hand carved in Gothic design, with sculpted three-dimensional heads, "linen-fold" panels and artistic detailing. This antique would be interesting in a bath or dressing area as well.

Solid walnut with stellar workmanship, the finish is original from about 1895, polished and in remarkably fine condition. There are small shrinkage separations from age, see photos.

The shaped and beveled mirror has "smoke" and a few spots, it could be resilvered but is original and quite charming. Hand-wrought iron mounts and hooks are exceptional, the glove drawer has hand-cut dovetails. A tin pan collected umbrella drips at the bottom.

Historic antique furniture from northern Europe, size is 32" wide, 11" deep and 7' 5" tall.
