Created in the Art Nouveau period as a washstand for a bowl and pitcher, today's lifestyles might recycle this antique as a vanity for a vessel sink, server or bar.
Hand-painted ceramic tiles have slight crazing and a few tiny chips. The polished slate-like top has only the tiniest chips at the edges. It is solid maple with burl raised panels on the doors, the finish is excellent.
Pulls are original from about 1900 on this charming furniture, size is 35 1/2" wide, 18" deep, 49" tall, and the top surface is 29" tall including the removable wheels.
