This Victrola or Victor Talking Machine record player is model VV-X from around 1915. The mahogany case has a warm reddish brown finish, and is in very fine condition with only minor scratches. Nickel over brass hardware is all original.
This player works well, the speed control is operational. The crank is removable, the spring motor is in good running order. Volume control is soft (both doors closed), medium (one door open) and loud (both doors open).
In the lower record storage area is an original albums with various records. The famous "His Master's Voice" design with the dog "Nipper" is under the lid.
Measurements of this nostalgic American antique are 18" wide, 21" deep and 42" tall when the lid is closed, excluding the removable crank.
