American Empire 1830's Antique Mahogany Sofa, Newly Upholstered

Hand carved of solid mahogany during the American Empire period in the 1830's, this elegant sofa has been newly upholstered in a fabric design from that era.

The excellent deep finish enhances matched flame grain panels, and preserves a few mars and dings at the edges for antique character. Said to be from Baltimore, the frame is tight and strong. The seat is comfortable and the back is firm, as is typical of this furniture.

Measurements are 80" long, 26" deep, 36" tall and the seat is 19" high.
