Art Nouveau 1890 Cigar Humidor Jar, Buffalo Hunt Scene, Silverplate & Cut Glass
A splendid cigar humidor jar from the 1890's is cut crystal with an embossed silverplate cover depicting an Indian mounted on his horse, hunting a buffalo.
The blown and cut jar has a ground bottom and minor flakes at the edges and wear on the base of this American made smoking antique. There are tiny dings and scratches to the silverplated brass lid, which has a three dimensional scene with a background of foliage.
Size is 4 1/2" diameter and 6" tall.
