An authentic reclining "Morris" chair from the Arts and Crafts period about 1905 has leather upholstery and a pull out magazine rack and foot rest.
An engraved brass plate reads, "Royal Easy Chair, Sturgis, Mich." Solid quarter sawn oak, the finish is impeccable. Comfortably padded, the chair and footstool are upholstered in genuine saddle leather with natural markings and scuffs, see photos.
A push button in the arm allows the spring loaded back to recline to 5 different positions.
Patented American antique furniture, the frame is strong and durable. Measurements are 30" wide, 33" deep, 44" tall and the seat is 15" high.
