Asian Vintage Carved Rosewood Dining Set, Table 3 Leaves, 10 Chairs, Thailand

Custom hand carved of solid rosewood in Thailand about 35 years ago, this dining set comprises a table with 3 leaves and 10 chairs. The hand rubbed silken finish is in excellent condition with a renewed top.

This vintage Asian furniture was specially made in Bangkok for a diplomat. Traditional motifs are understated, every aspect is superior quality. Rosewood is very hard with a beautiful shimmering grain, so heavy, it does not float in water.

The table has three 20" wide leaves with matching skirts or aprons. Size is 46" wide, 31" tall, legroom is 26" and length when closed is 56," with all 3 leaves in place, length is 9' 8" overall.

Chairs are newly upholstered, one has a stable old restoration and metal brace, see photos. There is only minor wear to the finish.

Two armchairs measure 22" wide, 22" deep, 39" tall and seats are 19" high, eight side chairs are 18" wide and 19" deep.
