The world famous "Atmos" clock by Swiss maker, "Jaeger LeCoultre" operates purely on variations in atmospheric pressure, so this engineering wonder is really not a "perpetual motion machine" as it appears.
This model is truly pristine, and works accurately. There are adjustable feet and a bubble level for precision set up. This clock was invented in 1931 by the maker of "Reverso" watches that flip for different time zones.
Precision machined and polished on every surface, the case has its original lacquer finish and even paper label. A lever in the base locks the spinning pendulum for moving, and there is a speed adjustment at the top of the 15 jewel movement.
To open the case, there is a latch on the top front. We see current models of these clocks priced as much as $6700, and they are often presentation gifts.
This mechanical marvel using no outside power supply measure 8 1/2" wide, 6 1/2" deep and 9 1/2" tall.
