Baroque Carved Vintage Italian Sofa

Lavishly hand carved in the Baroque manner by artisans in the north of Italy, this amazing sofa is about 60 years old.

Solid walnut, the frame is tight and strong. The satiny original finish is excellent and has been waxed and buffed, so an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is all that is needed to maintain the warm luster.

Cut velvet fabric is also original, there is wear and some staining, see photos. Soft cushions are zippered, and this opulent vintage furniture is well worth reupholstering. Pair of chairs in last photos are prices and sold separately, call or email for availability.

Measurements are 6' 4" long, 35" deep and 42" tall. The seat height is 18" tall.
