Bedroom Set, Full Size 1930's Vintage Carved Walnut & Burl 3 Pc.

An exquisite bedroom set from the 1930's includes a full size bed, dresser with mirror and tall chest on chest. There is the scent of mothballs inside this American made vintage furniture.

The finish is in excellent condition on walnut with matched burl and satinwood banding. Dovetailed drawers have finished solid oak interiors. This set is unsigned but sold in Chicago, fronts are gracefully curved.

Gold plated brass hardware is original except for the pair on the bottom drawer of the tall chest which is slightly different, see photos.

The bed has steel rails plus an upholstered pallet to use instead of a spring unit to keep from covering so much of the headboard. Size is 54 1/2" wide, 81" long, the headboard is 57" tall and the footboard is 26" high.

The dresser has a beveled mirror with a little antique "smoke" to show its age. Size is 50" wide, 22" deep and 6' tall. The tall chest is 41" wide, 21" deep and 55" high.
