A magnificent 15 piece oak dining set from about 1910 in the English Renaissance manner is signed by famous maker, "Berkey & Gay." There are twelve carved chairs that are newly upholstered, the round table has seven leaves with matching skirts or aprons, there is a large sideboard plus a small hunt board server.
Spiral columns are dramatic on this solid quarter sawn oak American made antique furniture. The deep finish is excellent condition.
Chairs are all tight and strong, size is 20" wide, 21" deep, 38" tall and the soft seats are 20" high. There are small breaks on the cane on 3 chairs - see photos.
The table is round when closed, the pedestal separates into three sections for support when extended to fit up to seven 11 3/4" wide leaves. Measurements are 60" diameter, 30" tall and legroom is 25" underneath, fully extended length is 11' 10" overall.
The sideboard has dovetailed drawers with working locks, there is a removable velvet lined silverware caddy. An upper gallery is removable and size is 79" wide, 24" deep, 47" tall and the top is 38" high.
The hunt board, sideboard or server is 54" wide, 22" deep, 39" tall and the top is 32" high.
