Birdseye Maple Art Deco Nightstand or Bedside Table
Stunning Art Deco furniture from the 1930's, this nightstand or bedside table was made with shimmering birdseye maple.
The satiny finish is excellent, enhancing the intricate book-matched golden grain. A brass signature plate is signed "Casa Moderna, Genova" or Genoa, Italy. Bakelite pull and piano hinge are original.
There are charming irregularities and shrinkage separations, see photos. Measurements of this antique are 16" wide, 13" deep and 24" tall.
