Black Forest 1900 Cuckoo Clock, Quail & Cuckoo Birds
An authentic Black Forest cuckoo clock from southern Germany is in fine working condition, with a quail bird appearing to chirp the quarter hour and a cuckoo popping out to strike the hour. There is also a bell strike on the hour.
The hand carved case is fruitwood with a high relief cuckoo at the crest. Three weights are chain wound.
This charming antique clock has been professionally serviced, the brass movement runs 30 hours and keeps accurate time.
Dimensions are 20" wide, 29" tall and 9 1/2" deep.
