Brass Student Desk 1900 Oil Lamp, Green Glass Shade, Electrified

A Victorian period desk or "student" lamp from about 1890 was originally oil burning, with the font off to the side to direct more light down from the flame.

This American made antique light has been electrified with a standard base socket and switch on the cord. The modern emerald green shade is cased inside with opal glass to light below. Solid brass, height is adjustable. The original oil tank is intact.

Shade diameter is 10" and the handle ring is 23" high, the lamp adjusts up and down.

Size is 50" wide, 20" deep and 30 1/2" tall including the removable wheels.
