Candlestick 1920 Antique Telephone with Generator & Bell
A 1920 era brass and black bakelite "candlestick" desktop phone is wired to a solid oak box containing a generator and bell.
The generator still works and rings, there is a stencil of the original party line ringing code, "2 short, 1 long."
An earpiece with headband is also original. "Western Electric" signatures are in numerous places on this antique American telephone apparatus, the old finishes are worn with nice old character, see photos.
The phone is 12" tall, the oak box is 11" tall, 8" wide and 7" deep.
