A hand crafted maple carpenter work bench from the early 1900's could also serve as a kitchen island or wine and cheese tasting table. There is an original cast iron clamp or vise to hold woodworking projects, or possibly to crack nuts.
The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving lots of mars, stains and wear on this American made antique furniture. There is some curly or "tiger" maple grain.
The drawer has dividers and old stenciling from recycled wooden shipping crates, see photos. For easier delivery, the butcher block top lifts off the rugged base.
Measurements are 48" long, 22" wide and 32 1/2" tall, the vise adds 4."
