Carved 1890 Antique Mahogany Column Pedestal

This imposing pedestal from England dates from about 1890, and was hand carved of solid mahogany.

The original finish is in very fine condition with a few stains on top for antique character. Waxed and polished, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its warm patina. This heavy and stable vintage furniture could support a sculpture or plant.

Measurements are 21" across the feet and 42" tall.
