A hall settee or sofa was hand sculpted in high relief with paw feet about 1900 in France, and has hand stitched genuine needlepoint upholstery.
The original finish is very well preserved and has been waxed and buffed, so all that is needed to maintain the patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. Brass nail heads secure the wonderful old needlepoint upholstery. The frame is strong and tight on this antique European furniture. Springs are comfortable and supportive.
Measurements are 6' wide, 32" deep, 48" tall and the seat is 19" high.
