Cast Iron 1870 Antique New Orleans Day Bed
A graceful sleigh shaped cast iron filigree day bed dates from around 1870, and is said to be from New Orleans.
The old worn finish has been preserved with lacquer on this American made Victorian antique. There are old repairs on this sturdy furniture which needs a cushion about 6' x 35," it could be a futon, or whatever is desired.
Overall dimensions are 37" wide, 81" long, 35" tall and the deck is 11" high.
