Cedar Bench, Trunk or Hope Chest, 1950 Vintage

A solid cedar trunk or bench from about 1950 was also called a "hope" chest. Cedar wood naturally repels insects, and the restored finish is in excellent condition. There is no key and the latch has been removed for safety, but is included. There is bronze weatherstrip to seal the lid.

Size of this vintage American made furniture is 40" long, 17" deep and 16" tall.
